Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Live-Out House Manager to oversee the smooth running of a private household. The ideal candidate will be proactive, discreet, and highly organized, with experience managing staff, coordinating household operations, and supporting a busy family environment. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the household, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and organization.

  • Supervise and coordinate household staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.

  • Develop and maintain household systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Manage household budgets, invoices, and financial records, ensuring timely payments and cost efficiency.

  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and service providers, ensuring all aspects of the property are well maintained.

  • Plan and coordinate events, dinners, and family gatherings, liaising with external suppliers as needed.

  • Ensure security, safety, and compliance of the household and staff.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and other external parties.

  • Support family members with travel arrangements, personal errands, and logistics as required.

  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, or similar role within a private household or high-net-worth environment.

  • Strong leadership and staff management skills.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

  • Financial literacy and experience managing budgets and invoices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility and availability to respond to household needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.

  • Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information.
