Full-Time Housekeeper

Geneva, Switzerland

A private household based in Geneva is seeking a discreet, reliable, and hands-on Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of their residence. This is a full-time position with a permanent contract, though it does not require living on site.

Presence, open-mindedness, flexibility, responsiveness, and professionalism will however be expected.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Housekeeping & Household Maintenance: Ensuring the home is consistently organized, cleaned, and well-presented, following the clients requirements (in particular, that all items should remain at their assigned place).
  • Kitchen Support: Assisting with meal preparation or kitchen-related tasks
  • General Upkeep & Minor Fixes: Handling small maintenance issues or identifying when specialist intervention is needed and run errands when needed.
  • Contractor Access: Being available to welcome and provide access to third-party service providers and contractors when works are scheduled (no direct supervision required, but some surveillance is appreciated to make sure things stay clean)
  • Assist with kids: Helping with drop-off and pick-up for the childrens activities (no driving license required)

WHO YOU ARE

  • Full-Time Availability: Employed on a full-time basis with flexibility to attend the property as needed (not a live-in position)
  • Language Skills: A good level of both English and French to liaise effectively with the principals and service providers
  • Discreet and Service-Oriented: Background in private households or luxury service environments preferred; a friendly, respectful presence is essential
  • Hands-On and Autonomous: Able to manage a variety of household responsibilities independently
  • Dynamic and Flexible: Comfortable supporting the daily rhythm of a family in all confidentiality, working in a multicultural environment
