HR Administrator – 3-month FTC
Salary: £17/hr - £18/hr
Location: London, Central
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused HR Administrator to join the People team of an innovative, fast-growing business on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their HR administration experience while gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the wider HR team, you'll provide essential administrative support, maintain accurate employee records, assist with key HR processes, and contribute to ongoing projects that help improve the employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • Provide HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and contract changes.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening and background checks, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are kept up to date.
  • Assist with regular HR audits and compliance activities.
  • Produce HR reports covering areas such as absence, annual leave and workforce data.
  • Support the probation review process by monitoring deadlines, liaising with managers and preparing documentation.
  • Process employment references and standard HR correspondence.
  • Help coordinate employee learning and development activities, including booking training courses and managing related administration.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People team and assist with ongoing HR projects as required.

Who You Are

  • Previous experience within an HR Administration or People Administration role.
  • Organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Comfortable working with HR systems and handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, adaptable and eager to contribute to process improvements.
  • A positive team player with a genuine interest in developing a career within Human Resources.
