Tiger HR are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing international consultancy in the search for an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to join their UK team.

This is a standalone, broad HR role supporting a UK team of approximately 80 employees within a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional services environment. The business is experiencing significant growth and is looking for someone who enjoys building processes, partnering with senior stakeholders, and balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on operational HR delivery.

You’ll act as the key HR contact for the UK business while collaborating closely with international HR colleagues across Europe.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to shape and develop the UK HR function during an exciting period of expansion. Reporting into a UK Partner, with a dotted line into the Group HR team overseas, you will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle and play a central role in supporting culture, performance, engagement, and organisational growth.

The environment combines the professionalism of an established consultancy with the pace and agility of a scaling business, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in collaborative, evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes across the UK business

  • Support recruitment coordination and onboarding for senior hires

  • Introduce and improve HR processes including probation reviews and exit interview frameworks

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR data

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters

Payroll & Benefits

  • Prepare payroll inputs including salary changes, bonuses, pensions, and benefits information

  • Liaise with payroll providers, finance teams, and benefits providers

  • Oversee employee benefits administration including private medical cover, life assurance, and income protection

  • Support salary and benefits benchmarking exercises

  • Manage employee mobility, secondments, and international transfers

Performance, Development & Culture

  • Coordinate annual and mid-year performance review processes

  • Support managers with feedback, moderation, and performance conversations

  • Assist with bonus and compensation review processes

  • Drive initiatives around engagement, culture, mentoring, and employee development

  • Support learning and development initiatives across the business

  • Contribute to DEI and employee engagement initiatives

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Handle employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, and long-term absence cases

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice

  • Liaise with external legal advisers on employment matters and visas

  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

HR Projects & Growth

  • Help build and professionalise the UK HR function as the business scales

  • Lead and contribute to HR projects, systems improvements, and policy development

  • Collaborate with international HR teams to align processes and initiatives across the wider group

About You

We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable HR professional who enjoys working autonomously in a standalone role  and building strong relationships across a business.

You will likely bring:

  • Several years’ experience in a broad HR Manager or HR Business Partner role

  • Strong generalist HR experience including operational delivery and project work

  • Employee relations experience and a solid understanding of UK employment law

  • Experience within a fast-paced, scaling, entrepreneurial, or professional services environment

  • Confidence working independently and partnering with senior stakeholders

  • A hands-on approach and willingness to balance strategic and administrative responsibilities

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • A collaborative and commercially aware mindset

Exposure to international HR environments, European HR collaboration, or DEI initiatives would be advantageous.
