Tiger HR are delighted to be supporting a growing and forward-thinking financial services business that is seeking an HR, Payroll & Benefits Associate to join its London-based HR team.

This is a broad and hands-on role supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on payroll, HR systems, onboarding, and employee support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations while delivering an excellent employee experience across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HR function across multiple areas, particularly Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS administration
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation, compliance checks, system set-up, employment verification, and benefits enrolment
  • Maintain HR systems with a high level of accuracy, ensuring timely updates for joiners, leavers, and employee changes
  • Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports
  • Act as a first point of contact for HRIS and HR-related queries, escalating where appropriate
  • Provide administrative support across the HR team, including preparing correspondence and maintaining employee records
  • Support payroll processing by preparing input data, liaising with payroll providers, checking outputs, and responding to employee queries
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and benefits administration
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within HR operations and processes

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within an HR and/or payroll role
  • Experience using HR systems/HRIS platforms (Sage People experience advantageous) and Analytical mindset with strong Excel skills
  • Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong team player with a willingness to support across a variety of tasks
  • Comfortable handling fast-paced environments and last-minute requests
  • Culturally aware with a professional and approachable manner
