HR Business Partner (Arabic Speaking)

Overview
The Arabic-Speaking HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in supporting business leaders and employees across all HR functions. This role acts as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on people-related matters, driving organizational effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with local labour laws. The HRBP partners with leadership to develop HR strategies that enhance performance, employee engagement, and workforce capability while ensuring smooth communication and documentation in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organisational goals and operational needs.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support workforce planning, organizational design, and restructuring initiatives.

  • Work with senior leadership to drive culture, engagement, retention, and productivity across the business.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Act as the main point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies.

  • Handle complex ER cases, investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with UAE Labour Law and company policies.

  • Prepare, translate, and review HR documents, contracts, letters, and communication in Arabic.

  • Liaise with government entities as needed on Arabic-language documentation or employee-related matters.

Talent Management & Development

  • Support performance management cycles, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.

  • Identify skill gaps and partner with leadership to implement learning and development programs.

  • Contribute to succession planning and talent pipeline development.

  • Support leadership coaching and capability building initiatives.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to support hiring strategies for key roles.

  • Participate in interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection processes as needed.

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction for new hires, including Arabic-language support where required.

HR Operations & Data

  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making.

  • Lead or support HR projects such as policy reviews, system improvements, and process enhancements.

  • Ensure accurate and compliant HR records, employee files, and reporting.

Culture, Engagement & Change Management

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and support internal communication strategies (Arabic and English).

  • Support organizational change initiatives through effective communication, planning, and execution.

  • Foster a positive workplace environment that reflects organizational values and supports employee wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
