We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer specialising in Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) to join our client's team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye, solid technical knowledge and proven experience in selecting, sourcing and specifying FF&E for residential and/or commercial interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver interior design concepts, with a strong focus on FF&E selection and specification.

• Source and select furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, accessories and decorative elements in line with project requirements.

• Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, mood boards and material boards.

• Research suppliers, manufacturers and showrooms, obtaining quotations and samples.

• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate procurement to ensure quality, budget and delivery timelines are met.

• Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and project teams to ensure design concepts are implemented effectively.

• Conduct site visits and oversee the installation and placement of furniture, fixtures and accessories.

• Ensure all design selections align with the client's brief, budget and project timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in interior design.

• Strong specialisation and proven experience in FF&E design, selection and procurement.

• A portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects, particularly FF&E work, is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, fabrics, finishes, lighting and suppliers.

• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit or similar.

• Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organisation and project coordination abilities.

• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
