IT Support Assistant (On-Site, Central London)
Hourly rate: £13.85 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Central London (5 days a week, on-site)
3 month temp contract

Key Responsibilities
Tech Support

Act as the first point of contact for technical issues (laptops, Wi-Fi, printers, phones, etc.).

Troubleshoot basic hardware and software problems.

Install software updates and assist with new device setups (Windows/macOS).

Ensure meeting rooms and video conferencing systems are functioning smoothly.
User Support & Onboarding

Prepare IT equipment for new starters and support their onboarding.

Assist colleagues with issues like password resets, VPN access, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Serve as the first point of contact for support incidents.
Ticketing & Documentation

Manage and track IT support tickets through the internal system.

Document fixes and create clear, easy-to-follow guides for recurring issues.

Identify and report recurring technical problems, suggesting improvements where possible.
Qualifications & Skills

Basic understanding of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications.

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN).

Previous experience using remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer).

Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
