Our client, a well-established organisation in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Landscape Engineer with strong expertise in plants and irrigation to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and strong practical knowledge of plant care, horticulture, and irrigation systems within the UAE environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate landscape, planting, and irrigation activities.
• Manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Monitor plant health, irrigation requirements, fertilisation, and pest control.
• Identify and resolve plant health and irrigation-related issues.
• Develop and manage irrigation schedules based on plant requirements and seasonal conditions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscape and irrigation works meet required standards.
• Coordinate with landscape teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor water usage and identify opportunities to improve irrigation efficiency.
• Ensure planting, replacement, pruning, and maintenance works are completed effectively.
• Maintain relevant reports, schedules, records, and documentation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in landscape engineering, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with plants and irrigation systems is essential.
• Must be currently based in Dubai, UAE.
• Good knowledge of plants and landscaping suitable for the UAE climate.
• Practical knowledge of drip, sprinkler, and other irrigation systems.
• Ability to identify plant diseases, pests, and irrigation issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Understanding of irrigation scheduling, fertilisation, water management, and plant maintenance.
• Relevant qualification in Landscape Engineering, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
