Salary: AED 23,000 – 25,000 / 26,000 per month (dependent on experience)
About the Role
An international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support its Abu Dhabi office. The role involves providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Partners and Associates within a busy, fast-paced practice.
This position requires a polished, highly organised individual who is comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously and supporting senior fee earners in a deadline-driven environment. Strong document production skills, attention to detail, and discretion are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Document Production & Formatting

Prepare, amend, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports in line with international law firm standards

Proofread, edit, and format documents with a high level of accuracy and consistency

Manage version control, document comparisons, and filing deadlines
Fee Earner Support

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Partners and Associates

Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate domestic and international travel

Support time recording, billing processes, expense claims, and general matter administration

Liaise professionally and discreetly with clients and internal stakeholders
Team & Matter Coordination

Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems

Coordinate document execution processes, filings, and deadlines

Support matter openings, KYC, conflict checks, and compliance procedures

Assist with internal reporting, presentations, and departmental communications
Key Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary within an international or top-tier regional law firm

Strong document production and Microsoft Word formatting skills

High level of professionalism, discretion, and client service focus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with legal billing systems (e.g. Elite, Aderant or similar) is advantageous
