A couple in Perth, Scotland are looking for a Domestic Couple to join them part-time, live-in. The current couple has been with the principals for 20 years, so this is a rare long-term opportunity with a genuinely flexible set-up for both sides.

Handyman & Maintenance

• General upkeep of the property, such as changing lightbulbs, fixing small issues around the house, and bringing in logs for the fire
• Occasional driving for the principals, including trips to Edinburgh (about an hour away on the A9), Glasgow, and down to Kent to see family
• Various hands-on jobs around the house and grounds as they come up
• Shopping for household supplies and running errands
• Keeping outdoor and storage areas tidy and functional
• If you enjoy gardening, there's scope to get involved, as the current couple does - mowing, tidying beds, and general upkeep alongside the gardener

Housekeeping & Domestic

• General housekeeping and laundry across the 5-bedroom property
• Keeping living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms clean and well-presented day to day
• Ironing, changing bed linen, and general tidying
• Occasional cooking - meal prep for the next day, or lending a hand when the clients are hosting
• Helping prepare the house when the principals have guests to stay, and turning rooms around after they leave

Accommodation

The role comes with a 1,900 sq. ft Coachhouse on the 3-acre property (pictures can be provided) - a lovely living space with room for a few cars. Council tax and rent are covered. No pets, unfortunately.

About the Clients

The have occasional commitments in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and travel down to Kent regularly to see family, so chauffeuring will be involved.
