Overview

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Finance Manager to support a fast-growing gaming development studio on a short-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and dynamic environment where you will play a key role in strengthening financial processes and supporting business performance.

The role is based near Bath, however, candidates seeking remote or hybrid working arrangements are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, and cost-centre allocations
• Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
• Assisting in the creation and improvement of financial processes, reporting tools, and trackers
• Providing ad-hoc financial support to the wider team as needed

Who you are:

• Experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a similar role
• Strong systems experience, including advanced Excel and full proficiency in Xero
• Background in an SME environment (desirable)
• A personable, approachable, and proactive working style, with excellent communication skills
