Title: Household Assistant / Nanny, New York, NY  

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 p.a.

Tiger is working with an ultra-high net worth family who is looking for an experienced Household Assistant / Nanny.  The family is New York City based with one small child and another on the way.  They have a home upstate New York and in Tahoe as well.  All applicants must be bilingual in English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen & Meals: Manage grocery shopping, pantry stocking, and lunch meal preparation (simple cooking) for the family. Additional cooking skills a plus. 
• Maintenance: Coordinate service providers such as cleaners, and handymen; solicit bids for home projects, ad hoc house projects / needs 
• Logistics: Manage all laundry (child and parent), open/manage package returns
• Organization: Perform general tidying, including dishes, toys, spills, and emptying garbage/recycling, taking out trash cans, etc.
• Environment: Provide a warm, loving, and fun daily environment that includes creative and educational activities
• Language & Literacy: Read at least 3 books daily and speak frequently with children to strengthen language skills; Portuguese fluency
• Health: Maintain infant/child CPR and First Aid certifications; keep detailed records of food intake and symptoms
• Tahoe Residency: Focus shifts to primary childcare with longer work weeks; private room/bath provided with beautiful mountain view 

Qualifications 

• Must be fluent in Portuguese
• 5-10+ years’ experience as Nanny / Household Assistant
• Ability to cook
• Ability to drive
• Extremely organized with high attention to detail
• Understanding the latest technology and organizational trends/methodologies
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
