Part-Time Office Assistant — Global Financial Services Firm (London)

January start, ongoing temporary role

Based in the City of London

£16 - £20 per hour DOE
Schedule: 2 days per week, 4 hours per day (with occasional additional hours)

 

A Global Financial Services Firm are seeking a highly organised and capable Office Assistant to keep their new London office running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is able to self-manage and enjoys being the go-to person for office needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain pantry: order and organise snacks, drinks, supplies; oversee daily upkeep of machines
  • Track and restock office supplies
  • Greet visitors and support onsite meetings
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute mail
  • Coordinate daily catered meals
  • Support recruiting with onsite interviews and new-hire onboarding
  • Assist with planning team dinners and outings
  • Partner with global Admin/IT teams on office projects
  • Ship packages globally (FedEx, DHL)
  • Keep the office tidy; maintain seating chart
  • Occasionally assist IT with equipment setup

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is essential
  • Highly organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
  • Strong multitasking skills; enjoys working hard and proactively
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments
  • Microsoft Office experience a plus
