Part-Time Office Assistant — Global Financial Services Firm (London)
January start, ongoing temporary role
Based in the City of London
£16 - £20 per hour DOE
Schedule: 2 days per week, 4 hours per day (with occasional additional hours)
A Global Financial Services Firm are seeking a highly organised and capable Office Assistant to keep their new London office running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is able to self-manage and enjoys being the go-to person for office needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain pantry: order and organise snacks, drinks, supplies; oversee daily upkeep of machines
- Track and restock office supplies
- Greet visitors and support onsite meetings
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute mail
- Coordinate daily catered meals
- Support recruiting with onsite interviews and new-hire onboarding
- Assist with planning team dinners and outings
- Partner with global Admin/IT teams on office projects
- Ship packages globally (FedEx, DHL)
- Keep the office tidy; maintain seating chart
- Occasionally assist IT with equipment setup
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is essential
- Highly organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Strong multitasking skills; enjoys working hard and proactively
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Microsoft Office experience a plus
