Tiger Recruitment is partnering with a tech startup in the AI space (seed stage, soon to be Series A). They are seeking a motivated, sharp, and experienced Office Manager to join their office in Manhattan. This role will be on a temp or temp-to-hire basis, with an offer potentially made to the right candidate.

Must have proficiency with Mac and MS Office.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee daily operations for a 35-employee office (projected growth to 50), ensuring seamless on-site functionality.
  • Directly support the two Co-Founders by managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, handling ad hoc administrative tasks, and managing confidential communications.
  • Lead office administration, vendor management, budgeting, and facilities coordination, negotiating contracts and maintaining operational cost controls.
  • Develop and implement workplace policies, onboarding processes, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a productive, compliant, and positive office culture.
  • Manage cross-functional coordination between leadership and staff, serving as the primary on-site point of contact for operational issues, compliance, and day-to-day problem resolution.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • An experienced Office Manager or Team Assistant, confident supporting busy founders and a mid-size team (35–50 employees).
  • Experienced in early-stage startup environments and familiar with the demands of such settings.
  • Proficient user of Mac and Microsoft.
  • Happy to be on-site with the team Monday through Friday.
