A private couple is seeking an experienced and reliable part-time housekeeper for their beautiful, newly renovated home in Notting Hill.

The Principals are due to move into the property in the coming weeks, and initial support will be required to help set up and organise the household.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented housekeeper, with the potential for additional hours over time as the household becomes fully established.

Schedule: Part-time, 3–4 days per week
Salary: £20–£25 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• General housekeeping duties to a high standard, including:

  • Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping

• Careful maintenance of high-quality surfaces, furniture, and finishes

• Laundry management, including delicate fabrics

• Ironing to an excellent standard

• Maintaining the home in a consistently clean, tidy, and well-organised condition

• Assisting with household setup and organisation during the move-in period

• Managing household supplies and restocking when needed

• Working independently, proactively, and with strong attention to detail

• Clear and regular communication via WhatsApp with the Principals’ PA regarding:

  • Schedules

  • Tasks and priorities

  • Household updates

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working as a housekeeper in private households

• Autonomous, reliable, and well-organised

• High level of discretion and professionalism

• Excellent attention to detail

• English speaking essential

• French speaking is a plus

• Comfortable using WhatsApp for professional communication

• Able to manage time efficiently and work independently

• Living close to Notting Hill or within easy commuting distance
