A European sports rehabilitation clinic is looking for a Portuguese-speaking Accountant to support their finance team. This 100% remote role offers the opportunity to work directly with the Clinic Manager and Owner in an international healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing, including invoice management and reconciliations.
• Support bookkeeping and daily financial entries to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and documentation for management.
• Help with bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
• Support VAT or other tax compliance tasks in line with local and European accounting standards.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, and ad-hoc financial analysis as requested.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to European accounting practices.
• Dubai-based with the ability to work remotely.
• Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or similar professional qualification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
