Compensation: $180-$250k p.a. base salary

A UHNWI family with children, newly established in New Jersey, is seeking an experienced, creative, and trustworthy Private Chef to provide exceptional daily meals and memorable dining experiences.

This is a long-term opportunity in a friendly and supportive household, where professionalism, respect, and teamwork are valued. The successful candidate will become a key member of a professional household team, working closely with the family to design seasonal menus, prepare meals to the highest standard, and cater to a variety of occasions. Familiarity with kosher culinary practices is required, while the role emphasizes a broad range of refined, health-conscious, and family-friendly cuisine.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals for the family and their guests, ranging from casual family dining to formal entertaining.
  • Create diverse, seasonal, and innovative menus tailored to the family’s preferences.
  • Source and purchase the highest quality ingredients, including kosher-certified products as required.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and professional kitchen at all times.
  • Design and execute menus for family gatherings, special occasions, and entertaining.
  • Collaborate with other household staff to ensure seamless service and coordination.
  • Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and a professional demeanor at all times.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef in UHNWI households
  • Additional certifications (e.g., food safety, nutrition, or specialty culinary training) are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of kosher principles and the ability to apply them naturally within the family’s lifestyle.
  • Ability to deliver both sophisticated, fine dining experiences and healthy, family-oriented meals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the family’s schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional discretion, integrity, and a respectful, team-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel with the family if required.
