Job Description

Tiger Private are currently in search of a Private PA for a well-established Family Office in Bury St Edmunds, providing comprehensive support across personal, household, and estate matters.

Duties will include all administrative and personal support for the principal, including correspondence, diary management, research, and meeting coordination. The role involves overseeing a team of seven household and estate staff, managing schedules, drafting employment documentation, coordinating performance reviews, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Extensive global travel planning is required, including private jet bookings, accommodation, transfers, and international logistics, although travel with the principal is not anticipated. The role also includes basic bookkeeping, invoice and payment oversight across multiple residences and estate interests, credit card reconciliations, and liaison with the finance team.

Additional responsibilities include day-to-day property management across several estate properties, contractor liaison, maintenance coordination, event planning, personal errands, and occasional support to the principal’s spouse and wider family. The role will also provide ad hoc HR and administrative assistance to the Family Office, including maintaining the COINS HR system and liaising with external HR advisors.

The working schedule runs Monday to Friday and is highly structured: one day per week at the residence, two days in the office, and two days working from home. Some flexibility will be required to provide additional support during events.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5+ years’ experience supporting UHNW individuals within a private household and will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, professionalism, and discretion. They will be reliable, calm under pressure, IT proficient, and confident liaising with senior stakeholders. A proactive, flexible approach and absolute confidentiality are essential.

Candidates who are currently based outside the area but are considering a move to Suffolk will be considered.
