We are recruiting on behalf of a high-growth technology business for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of its core platform and key strategic initiatives.

This is a senior, high-impact role for a delivery-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working at the intersection of business, technology, and external partners.

The Project Director will be accountable for the successful planning and delivery of the organisation’s platform and associated strategic initiatives. You will oversee delivery from concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals, managing risk, and maintaining clear visibility for executive leadership.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of platform and strategic initiatives

• Build and manage detailed delivery plans, schedules, and milestones

• Act as the primary point of contact for external technology vendors and partners

• Convert business objectives into structured delivery plans and outcomes

• Identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies

• Provide regular progress updates and reporting to the CEO

• Ensure all projects meet required standards for quality, security, and compliance

• Oversee launch readiness and support post-implementation activities

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Business, Technology, or a related discipline

• Extensive experience delivering complex technology-driven projects, ideally within fintech or similar environments

• Strong knowledge of software delivery methodologies and development lifecycles

• Proven capability managing third-party vendors and cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated success delivering under pressure in fast-moving organisations
