Job Description

We are partnered with a Crypto Market Maker who are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to develop and enhance automated trading and analytical systems. In this role, you will design algorithms, build scalable software solutions, and work with large and complex datasets to improve decision-making and system performance.

The position combines quantitative research, software development, and practical problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with investment and trading professionals, helping identify opportunities to refine models, processes, and strategies.

Responsibilities

Projects may include:

  • Designing, testing, and implementing quantitative models and strategies
  • Enhancing and optimizing existing algorithms and systems
  • Performing statistical and data analysis to better understand market dynamics and strategy performance
  • Developing tools and infrastructure to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Conducting research on new methodologies and quantitative techniques
  • Contributing ideas and solutions independently throughout the research and development lifecycle

Projects can vary significantly in scope and duration, ranging from short-term initiatives to longer-term research efforts. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work, explore new ideas, and contribute creatively to the development process.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong academic record
  • Solid understanding of mathematical modeling, statistics, and quantitative methods
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Strong programming skills and enthusiasm for software development
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, or similar
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large datasets and data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with financial markets, trading systems, or quantitative research methodologies
  • Knowledge of machine learning, optimization, or statistical modeling techniques
