Our client, a prestigious investment bank based in the City of London, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. What you’ll do:
- Act as the first point of contact, providing a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors, and managing all check-ins and guest communications.
- Oversee the smooth running of reception, meeting rooms, and communal areas, ensuring they are immaculate, well-stocked, and equipped with up-to-date materials.
- Coordinate refreshments, catering, and AV/VC set-ups, while managing the meeting room booking system to ensure efficiency.
- Support daily office operations by replenishing supplies, managing post and deliveries, and assisting with stock ordering.
- Contribute to the organisation of internal events, including staff lunches, meetings, and client hospitality.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to staff and guests and assist the Office Manager and Senior Receptionist with wider operational tasks.
What you’ll need:
- Looking for your first role within a busy reception/office based role.
- Be extremely organised and efficient – be able to multi-task and prioritise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be professional and confident
- Collaborative team player, adaptable, proactive, and solutions oriented.
- Discreet and polished, able to handle sensitive information with confidence.
- Skilled in Outlook and familiar with standard office IT equipment.
- High-quality customer service attitude, responsive, and able to use initiative to resolve issues.
