A pioneering fire safety manufacturer is expanding operations into the UAE and requires a dynamic Senior Business Development & Operational Lead to spearhead market penetration and organizational growth. This is a high-impact role for a proactive individual with deep knowledge of firefighting products and an established network within the region.

The successful candidate will confidently represent the company in strategic meetings with C-suite executives and decision-makers, having strong negotiation and influencing capabilities, while providing operational oversight and performance visibility directly to the CEO. This role requires both business acumen and technical expertise — ensuring solutions are not only sold but also successfully delivered and installed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development initiatives in the UAE with a focus on high-value firefighting products and technologies.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with top-tier organizations and government entities in the region.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and board-level meetings.
  • Oversee project implementation and delivery, ensuring operational excellence across commissioning and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor KPIs, provide weekly updates to the CEO, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity, industry trends, and market developments to inform business strategy.
  • Drive commercial success by identifying opportunities for revenue growth, partnerships, and operational efficiencies.

Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum 5+ years of senior experience in firefighting equipment sales, project delivery, and commissioning within the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of valves and flow control systems in fire protection products.
  • Proven experience in operations and performance monitoring, reporting directly to senior leadership.
  • Technical expertise in valve installation and maintenance, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers as well as non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly commercially aware, with the ability to analyse competitors, market developments, and industry trends to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to win high-value contracts and drive market growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and commercial negotiation skills.
