Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls
• Lead governance escalation protocols, delegations of authority, and reporting structures
• Support the development and ongoing enhancement of risk frameworks
• Coordinate risk identification, assessment, and monitoring
• Maintain risk registers, dashboards, and reporting for the senior leadership
• Conduct risk assurance activities and governance advisory, acting as a highly knowledgeable resource for the company
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote governance and risk educational initiatives across the organisation

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Law, or Business
• Professional certifications within governance, risk, compliance, or audit are highly advantageous
• A minimum of 6 years of experience within the financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, enterprise risk management, internal controls, assurance practices, and policy oversight
• Proven ability to design and implement organisational governance and risk frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in the engagement of senior management and executive committees
• Strong analytical thinking, an exceptionally high attention to detail
