Senior Learning & Development Coordinator
Job Description
Senior Learning & Development Coordinator | Perm | £40,000 - £45,000 | City of London
Our client, a highly respected heritage architecture practice based in London, is looking for a Senior Learning & Development Coordinator to join their People team at an exciting time of growth.
The L&D agenda within the business has expanded significantly in scale and complexity in recent years. Alongside a strong externally delivered training offering, the practice runs a substantial number of internal development initiatives that require close coordination across multiple contributors, regions, and business functions — including their well-regarded internal Academy programme, which has received excellent feedback and continues to grow year on year.
This newly created role will provide the dedicated capacity, coordination, and expertise needed to strengthen the L&D offering and support the business's continued investment in its people.
The role:
- Supporting the Head of People in delivering and coordinating the wider Learning & Development programme
- Supporting the delivery and ongoing embedding of the practice's in-house Academy
- Coordinating the firm's Strategic Away Day
- Managing professional development, technical training, and compliance learning requirements - including record keeping, accreditations, and ensuring compliance with relevant ISO and mandatory training standards
- Building and maintaining skills knowledge records, working closely with leaders to support effective resourcing decisions
- Coordinating internal and external facilitators and subject matter experts
- Gathering feedback and evaluating learning outcomes to ensure return on investment
- Supporting the Head of People in showcasing the L&D programme externally - including testimonials, awards, and website content to reflect the strength of the practice's offering
About you:
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development coordination role, ideally within a professional services or design/architecture environment
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities across a growing L&D function
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around compliance, accreditation, and record keeping
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with facilitators, subject matter experts, and senior leadership
- A genuine interest in people development, with an eye for evaluating impact and ROI
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected, design-led practice at a pivotal moment for its L&D function, with real scope to shape how learning is delivered and celebrated across the business.
