Senior Legal Secretary 

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 26,000 - AED 32,000 per month (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Requirement: Candidates must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate

Overview

A highly regarded international Law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to provide first-class administrative and secretarial support to senior legal professionals. This role suits a confident, detail-driven individual accustomed to working in a fast-paced, high-standards environment.

Candidates must be based in the UAE to apply with UAE experience and have a minimum of 5+ years experience working as a Legal secretary with International firms. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Partners and Associates

  • Manage complex and high-volume diary scheduling across multiple stakeholders

  • Produce and amend legal documents, including extensive formatting, version control, and track changes

  • Coordinate meetings, lunches, and external appointments with follow-up and confirmations

  • Arrange complex travel, including flights, accommodation, visas, and transfers

  • Handle calls, correspondence, and messages professionally and accurately

  • Manage document handling: printing, scanning, filing, binding, and electronic filing

  • Support billing processes, including pre-bills, liaising with partners and finance teams, and issuing invoices

  • Complete time recording and timesheet entry for fee earners

  • Process expenses, invoice requests, and petty cash reports

  • Assist with new client and matter openings, including KYC and compliance documentation

  • Maintain client contact and business development records within CRM systems

  • Provide cover for other secretaries and support reception and meeting room coordination when required

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior legal secretarial role within a UK or US international law firm

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong experience with legal document management, time recording, and billing systems

  • Exceptional attention to detail and document presentation standards

  • Confident managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
