Tiger Private are seeking a talented Sous Chef for a prestigious estate in Sutherland, Scotland. The estate hosts guests from around the world for holidays, weddings, corporate retreats, and sporting events, offering an exceptional culinary experience that celebrates the finest local and sustainably sourced ingredients.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you’ll help deliver honest, ingredient-led food with a focus on provenance and simplicity. Expect open-fire cooking, bothy BBQs, family-style dining, and seasonal highlights - all crafted for small groups of guests. This role offers a rare lifestyle opportunity away from the urban market, within a modern kitchen and a close-knit, creative team.
You’ll support menu development, guest interaction, and team supervision while maintaining strong supplier relationships and upholding the ethos of the estate. The position suits a passionate, hands-on chef with experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in fine dining or private environments, confident engaging with guests and someone with a passion for sustainability and the Scottish Highlands.
This is a Full-time, permanent position (48 hours per week) with accomodation, pension, and excellent benefits.
