Salary: £45k + Bonus

 

Tiger HR is delighted to be partnering with a leading and fast-growing organisation is seeking an experienced Talent & Development Manager to lead and evolve its talent acquisition function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

 

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for shaping recruitment strategy, enhancing employer branding, building diverse talent pipelines, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience across all levels of hiring, including graduate and apprenticeship programmes.

 

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure the organisation continues to attract, develop, and retain top talent while driving continuous improvement across recruitment operations, onboarding, reporting, and people processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned to business growth objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Talent team
  • Manage and improve the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
  • Partner with senior hiring managers on workforce planning, strategic hiring, and critical vacancies
  • Drive employer branding initiatives and enhance candidate engagement across all touchpoints
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within recruitment practices
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Lead graduate and apprenticeship recruitment programmes, including careers fairs and external partnerships
  • Deliver recruitment analytics and insights including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire reporting
  • Manage recruitment suppliers, agencies, ATS platforms, and sourcing technologies
  • Support implementation of structured interview processes, onboarding frameworks, and recruitment best practice
  • Provide salary benchmarking, market intelligence, and recruitment trend analysis to senior leadership
  • Contribute to wider HR and transformation projects focused on process improvement and scalability

 

About You

  • Proven background in talent acquisition/recruitment leadership within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing and developing recruitment teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
  • Hands-on sourcing and recruitment capability across specialist and senior-level hires
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, workforce planning, and employer branding
  • Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment technologies (SuccessFactors experience highly desirable)
  • Commercially aware with a data-driven and continuous improvement mindset
  • Passionate about candidate experience, coaching, and building inclusive hiring practices

 

Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition/recruitment
  • Previous leadership or management experience essential
  • Experience delivering recruitment strategy across multiple business functions
  • Graduate/apprenticeship recruitment experience highly advantageous
  • Exposure to service desk or workflow tools such as Zendesk beneficial
