Job Description

Team Assistant | £30,000 - £35,000 | 5 days office based | Perm

My client is a fast-growing media company with a global presence - they are looking for a motivated and proactive team assistant who is able to come in and hit the ground running.

This is a hands-on role at the centre of a small, ambitious team, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a welcoming, positive office environment.

As Team Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, supporting day-to-day administration and helping to build a fun, inclusive culture. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, acting as a trusted go-to person who brings a calm, can-do attitude to everything they do.

Duties include:

  • Maintain office standards, ensuring meeting rooms, breakout spaces and the kitchen are kept in excellent condition

  • Manage office food and supplies, including stocking team favourites and organising regular team meals

  • Support the People team with ad hoc projects and initiatives that promote a fun, family-feel culture

  • Manage office security and access, including key cards and visitor registration

  • Act as the main point of contact with building management and external suppliers

  • Coordinate IT and equipment setup, troubleshooting and replacements

  • Manage relationships with office vendors, including cleaning, catering, travel and healthcare providers

  • Handle visitors, calls, deliveries and couriers in a professional and timely manner

  • Keep administrative documents accurate and up to date

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, training sessions and health and safety requirements

  • Plan and manage team events, from large annual functions to smaller team-building activities and lunches

  • Support the Finance team with expenses, invoices, payments and audit preparation

  • Arrange domestic and international travel, primarily between the US, London and Europe

About you

  • Previous experience as a Team Assistant or in a similar role within a tech or startup environment

  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working at pace

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident managing multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure

  • Naturally positive, friendly and professional in your approach

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Perks:

  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Private health and dental care

  • Gym or fitness membership

  • Private pension contribution

  • Free breakfast, office snacks and a Deliveroo lunch each week
