Legal Administrative Assistant

Location: Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
Salary: AED 17,000 – 20,000 per month (dependent on experience)

Overview

A leading international law firm based in the DIFC is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to legal teams. The role works closely with legal secretaries and fee earners, supporting the smooth day to day operation of the office and ensuring exceptional service standards.

Candidates must be based in the UAE to apply and should have experience working in a professional services firm in a PA/EA/Team assistant role.

eKey Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Partners, Associates, and legal secretaries

  • Coordinate meetings, conference room bookings, conference calls, and catering

  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including taxis, flights, and itineraries

  • Assist with administrative processes, including invoices, reimbursements, and time entry

  • Create, edit, and proofread legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations

  • Maintain client lists, contact databases, and electronic and physical filing systems

  • Draft correspondence, templates, and documents requiring accurate formatting

  • Prepare documents for court filings, attorney services, and e-filing portals as required

  • Provide reception cover and visitor support when necessary

  • Carry out additional administrative duties in support of the wider legal team

  • Sound understanding of legal office procedures and administrative workflows

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Calm and effective under pressure in deadline-driven environments

  • Strong proofreading, grammar, and document presentation skills

  • Discreet and professional when handling confidential information

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime when required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Arabic language skills advantageous but not essential
