Job Description

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a highly respected philanthropic organisation on a six-month fixed-term contract. Supporting a team of Directors, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities by providing seamless executive support, outstanding coordination and proactive partnership.

This is a fast-paced, varied role that would suit an experienced EA who thrives on anticipating needs, managing competing priorities and building strong relationships across an organisation.

6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | £50,000–£55,000 pro rata | City of London | Hybrid (2 days in the office) | Immediate Start

What you'll do: 

  • Manage complex and ever-changing diaries, ensuring executive time is protected and priorities are effectively balanced.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, briefing materials and ensuring actions are followed through.
  • Arrange national and international travel, itineraries and logistics.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate planning activities across the teams, ensuring visibility of priorities and commitments.
  • Produce high-quality meeting documentation, presentations and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and documentation while handling confidential information with absolute discretion.
  • Work closely with the EA to the CEO and colleagues across the organisation to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing Executive Assistant function.

Who you are:

We're looking for a proactive, highly organised Executive Assistant who enjoys working at pace and takes pride in delivering exceptional support.

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional diary management and coordination skills, with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to anticipate needs and think several steps ahead.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement, professionalism and complete discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

What's on offer:

  • Salary of £50,000–£55,000 pro rata
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week in the City office)
