Temporary Credit Controller (must be available immediately)

£16.00 - £19.00 per hour

Our client is a global business operating a dynamic marketplace for buying and selling businesses.  They are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a temporary basis to manage customer accounts, support the timely collection of outstanding invoices, reduce aged debt, and help maintain strong, professional relationships with their clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Raise monthly sales invoices
• Proactively manage and collect outstanding customer debt
• Monitor aged debtor reports and escalate overdue accounts where necessary
• Maintain accurate customer account records and payment histories
• Conduct credit checks and assess customer credit worthiness
• Prepare regular reports on debtor status, cash allocation and aged debt
• Support month-end reporting and reconciliation processes

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE / BE:

• 3-5 years of experience in a credit control position
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash allocation
• Experience using Xero (desirable)
• Knowledge of legal debt recovery procedures (desirable)
• Professional, pro-active, collaborative and customer-focused
