Travelling Housekeeper / Butler (Mayfair-based, Global Travel)

Tiger Private is seeking a highly experienced, discreet, and service-driven Travelling Housekeeper/Butler to support a high-profile principal with an international and fast-paced lifestyle.

This is a hands-on, 5-star hospitality-level role requiring exceptional standards of housekeeping, immaculate attention to detail, and a calm, adaptable approach to frequent travel and changing schedules.

The principal is London-based but travels extensively throughout the year, including to the United States, the Middle East, and Europe, often at short notice and for extended periods. The successful candidate must be based within easy reach of Mayfair, London, and have their own London accommodation.

All travel, accommodation, and food expenses are covered whilst travelling.

This role may be shared with another Travelling Housekeeper/Butler, with the potential for a flexible rota such as a 1 week on / 1 week off arrangement.

Essential: Full, clean UK driving licence with confidence and competence as a driver in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, hotel-level housekeeping at all residences and travel locations, ensuring all environments are maintained in pristine, immaculate condition at all times.
  • Oversee daily housekeeping standards including cleaning, tidying, laundry care, ironing, and general upkeep to the highest 5-star standard.
  • Act as Butler and service support, including setting formal and informal tables, serving food and beverages, and preparing drinks as required.
  • Provide full wardrobe and valet management, including packing and unpacking, clothing care, organisation of garments, and ensuring outfits are prepared to an exceptional standard.
  • Maintain and organise closets, travel wardrobes, and personal belongings with precision and consistency.
  • Prepare and manage travel kits, ensuring all items are packed efficiently and nothing is overlooked during frequent travel transitions.
  • Assist with household errands, personal shopping, and liaising with household staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Provide professional chauffeur support when required, ensuring safe, confident, and reliable driving in the UK and internationally (full, clean UK driving licence essential).
  • Adapt quickly to changing schedules, working flexibly across weekends, bank holidays, and international travel as required.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in high-end private households, yachts, or 5-star hospitality environments.
  • Exceptional housekeeping skills with a strong focus on immaculate presentation and detail.
  • Proven Butler/service experience, including table service, drink preparation, and guest-facing duties.
  • Strong valet and wardrobe management experience, including packing, unpacking, and garment care.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence with confidence and competence as a driver.
  • Highly organised, discreet, and professional with a strong sense of service.
  • Comfortable with frequent international travel and on-call working patterns.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-moving environment.
