Travelling Private Chef
Job Description
A private household is seeking an experienced and versatile Travelling Chef to provide high-quality culinary support across multiple international locations. Based primarily in Gibraltar, the role involves frequent travel with the principals and the delivery of consistently excellent, personalised cuisine.
The chef will be responsible for planning and preparing weekly menus that reflect specific dietary requirements as well as a range of refined European dishes for the wider family. A strong understanding of balanced, nutritious cooking is essential, and the ability to source fresh, organic and local ingredients in each location is key.
Working closely with the household team, the chef will ensure seamless coordination around meal times, maintain immaculate kitchen environments and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The role also involves managing stock, placing orders, maintaining kitchen organisation and updating menus as needed, while always exercising complete discretion.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from luxury hotel kitchens or high-end private households, with excellent organisational skills, calm communication and the ability to adapt quickly while travelling. A European passport and Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification are required, along with a professional, positive and mature approach.
