Travelling Private Chef (London / Europe/ Miami)
A London-based family is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Travelling Private Chef to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional who enjoys international travel and is looking for a stable, long-standing role with a warm and respectful family.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals for two principals, with occasional catering for up to six people when immediate family members are in residence.
The family values consistency, discretion, and a chef who can seamlessly integrate into their lifestyle while maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Annual Travel Schedule
This is a fully travelling role, with the following typical schedule:
- January - Early May: Miami
- May – June: London
- July: Typically off (family travels independently)
- August – September: Aspen
- October – Early December: London (with occasional travel to Miami for Thanksgiving)
- Christmas & New Year: Aspen
Flexibility is essential, as plans may change slightly year to year.
Working Schedule *flexibility required depending on the Principals schedule and requirements*
- Sunday to Thursday: Working days
- Friday & Saturday: Days off
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, daily meals tailored to the principals’ preferences
- Source the highest quality, seasonal ingredients in each location
- Plan and execute balanced, health-focused menus
- Maintain an exceptionally clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adapt to different kitchens and international settings with ease
- Occasionally cater for small family gatherings (up to six people)

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience working as a private chef within UHNW households
- Professional training from prestigious culinary schools and establishments
- Demonstrated longevity in previous private roles
- Strong adaptability and willingness to travel internationally
- Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the principals
- Knowledge of global cuisines, particularly Mediterranean, Japanese, and Lebanese
- Professional, discreet, and personable demeanour
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
This is a highly sought-after position with a family known for retaining staff long-term-the current chef has been with them for nearly ten years.
The role offers the chance to travel extensively while working in a supportive and appreciative environment.
The ideal candidate will hold right to work in both UK and the US, but visa support can also be offered for the right UK based candidate.
